Why Groups Choose Our Lafayette Party Bus Service
Booking a Lafayette, Indiana party bus rental is easy with Party Bus in Indianapolis. We have been matching Indiana groups with the right vehicle since 2011 — prom nights, Purdue tailgates, wedding shuttles along the Wabash, corporate shuttles between the Purdue Research Park and Indianapolis — and the process is the same every time: one call, an all-inclusive quote in under 30 seconds, and a vehicle that shows up exactly where and when you need it.
Lafayette's downtown parking can be genuinely painful on event weekends. Meters on Main Street fill fast during First Fridays, the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds lot empties slowly after major events, and US 52 eastbound toward West Lafayette backs up on every Purdue home Saturday. Instead of choosing who stays sober, splitting into multiple cars, and meeting up fifteen minutes late at the wrong gate — your entire group loads at one address, rides together, and walks in at the same time.
Our 24/7/365 reservation team, all-inclusive pricing with no hidden costs, and a fleet large enough that you never pay for empty seats are why groups across Tippecanoe County keep calling us back. Call 317-238-3326 any time for a no-obligation price quote.
Lafayette Party Bus Rentals for Every Occasion
Party Bus in Indianapolis handles group transportation for every kind of occasion across the Lafayette and West Lafayette area. From airport transfers and Purdue game shuttles to wedding loops and brewery crawls on the Wabash — whatever brings your group together, we have a vehicle and a plan ready. Call 317-238-3326 to get your group moving today.

Lafayette Airport Shuttles & Transportation
The closest major airport to Lafayette is Indianapolis International Airport (IND) (7800 Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46241), roughly 65 miles south on I-65 — about an hour in normal traffic, longer when construction or weather tighten the I-65 corridor near Whitestown. For groups flying in for a Purdue graduation, a large family reunion, or a corporate conference at the Purdue Memorial Union, coordinating a caravan of cars down I-65 and back is a genuine headache.
One charter bus picks everyone up at the terminal's commercial vehicle lane on the lower level of Concourse B and drives directly to your Lafayette hotel, venue, or campus destination. Do not call for the bus until your full group has collected luggage and is together — then the pickup is smooth and fast. We recommend reviewing the official IND ground transportation page before you land.
Call 317-238-3326 to book your Lafayette airport shuttle.

Lafayette Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Downtown Lafayette's restaurant and bar corridor along Main Street and 4th Street makes for a natural pub crawl — start at a dinner reservation on Main, work toward the bars near the Wabash, and close out somewhere along the 4th Street Arts District before the night's done. Nobody wants to be stuck staying sober for that route, and rideshares post-midnight in Lafayette can mean extended wait times. A Lafayette bachelorette party bus keeps the whole crew together from the first stop to the last call — LED lighting and a full bar onboard mean the celebration starts the moment everyone loads.
Our 15- to 50-passenger party buses are the right fit for a night out in the 765; for smaller squads, a Sprinter limo handles four to fourteen with style. Custom playlists, themed lighting, any itinerary you want — just tell us the stops. Call 317-238-3326 now.

Lafayette Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A party bus arrival is one of the most memorable entrances you can make for any milestone birthday in Lafayette. Whether the celebration is heading to a dinner reservation at Nine Irish Brothers (119 Howard Ave, West Lafayette, IN 47906), a venue at the Fowler Arts Center, or a Sweet 16 party at a private banquet hall in Tippecanoe County — our 15- to 50-passenger party buses are ready to customize around your event. Pre-load a playlist, coordinate a color scheme for the LED lighting, and your guests ride together from the very start instead of arriving in scattered cars.
For adult milestone birthdays hitting downtown Lafayette's bar and restaurant scene, a party bus rental in Lafayette keeps everyone on the same itinerary and takes away the designated-driver problem entirely. We offer a massive variety of vehicles — you never have to pay for seats you do not actually need. Call 317-238-3326 any time to plan your Lafayette birthday celebration.

Lafayette Concert Transportation & Shuttles
The Elliott Hall of Music (900 W State St, West Lafayette, IN 47907) on the Purdue campus seats nearly 6,200 and hosts everything from touring national acts to the Purdue Convocations series — and parking on the Purdue campus on event nights is heavily permit-enforced, with violations ticketed quickly. The Long Center for the Performing Arts (111 N 6th St, Lafayette, IN 47901) pulls crowds downtown for touring Broadway, comedy, and music acts, where metered spots on 6th Street disappear well before showtime. A Lafayette concert bus rental drops your group curbside at the venue entrance and picks everyone up when the show ends — no circling for parking, no splitting into separate rideshares after midnight.
For Purdue events especially, a minibus or charter bus from our fleet handles the West Lafayette campus traffic cleanly. Call 317-238-3326 for a concert transportation quote.

Lafayette Corporate Event Transportation
Lafayette's corporate scene centers on the Purdue Research Park (1281 Win Hentschel Blvd, West Lafayette, IN 47906) — one of the largest university-affiliated research parks in the country — along with Subaru of Indiana Automotive in neighboring Lafayette proper and a growing roster of life-sciences companies along the US 52 corridor. Shuttling employees or visiting clients between the Research Park, downtown Lafayette hotels like the Homewood Suites or Courtyard Marriott, and meeting spaces at Purdue's Stewart Center is a routing puzzle on any busy weekday when US 52 backs up near the River Road intersection. A Lafayette, Indiana corporate bus rental takes that out of the equation entirely — WiFi and power outlets keep your team productive on the road, and one vehicle consolidates what would otherwise be a six-car caravan through campus.
Call 317-238-3326 to discuss group rates and shuttle contracts.

Lafayette Private Event Transportation Services
The Tippecanoe County Fair runs each July at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds (1401 Teal Rd, Lafayette, IN 47905), drawing tens of thousands of visitors over ten days and backing up Teal Road and SR 38 well before the gates open each evening. Rideshare demand around the fairgrounds during grandstand concert nights spikes the same way it does at a stadium event — surge pricing, extended ETAs, and groups splitting up to squeeze into whatever arrives first. A private charter bus keeps your family group or company outing together for one flat rate, drops you at the fairgrounds entrance, and is waiting at a pre-arranged pickup point when the night ends.
For multi-stop Lafayette itineraries — the farmers market at 5th Street Market on a Saturday morning, lunch at a River Road restaurant, a Columbian Park visit in the afternoon — a charter bus or minibus handles the entire day without anyone worrying about parking at every stop. Call 317-238-3326 to build a custom Lafayette private transportation plan.

Lafayette Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season in Tippecanoe County runs through late April and May, with Jefferson High School, McCutcheon High School, and Harrison High School all holding events within a compressed window — demand for party buses in Lafayette spikes sharply and vehicles book up fast. For prom: book by January or expect premium pricing or no availability. A typical 6-hour prom rental for 25 students — school pickup, a photo stop at Columbian Park, dinner in downtown Lafayette, venue drop-off, and after-party return — runs $1,500–$2,000 all-inclusive when booked 4–6 months early.
Waiting until April often means paying $500–$800 more or finding the calendar is simply gone. Party Bus in Indianapolis works with parent committees and student groups across Tippecanoe County to tailor prom transportation to your specific itinerary. Call 317-238-3326 today to secure your date.

Lafayette School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Tippecanoe County schools and Purdue student groups trust Party Bus in Indianapolis for reliable, comfortable field trip transportation that gets everyone there together. Charter buses are a serious upgrade over traditional yellow buses — reclining seats, climate control, TV monitors with a DVD player, overhead storage for backpacks and lunch bags, and undercarriage bays for larger gear. Popular Lafayette-area field trip destinations include the Prophetstown State Park (4112 E State Rd 225, Battle Ground, IN 47920) living history experience, the Tippecanoe Battlefield and Museum (200 Battleground Ave, Battle Ground, IN 47920), and the Imagination Station children's museum (600 N 4th St, Lafayette, IN 47901).
For longer excursions to Indianapolis — the Indiana State Museum, the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, or the Indianapolis Zoo — onboard restrooms on select charter buses keep the itinerary moving without constant roadside stops. ADA-accessible vehicles are always available; just flag it when you book. Call 317-238-3326 for school bus rentals in Lafayette.

Lafayette Sporting Event Transportation
Purdue Boilermakers football Saturdays are the single largest transportation event Lafayette sees all year. Ross-Ade Stadium (1 Rosenthal Ave, West Lafayette, IN 47907) holds just over 57,000 fans, and the approach corridors — US 52 westbound, Northwestern Avenue, Stadium Avenue — back up significantly two to three hours before kickoff on big home games. Paid surface lots around the stadium fill early, and the walk from remote satellite parking on the far side of campus can run 20 or more minutes.
A Lafayette, Indiana charter bus rental drops your group near the stadium's north end and cuts out the parking scramble entirely — the tailgate can start on the bus while everyone else is still hunting for a spot on Jischke Drive. For Purdue basketball at Mackey Arena (900 John R. Wooden Dr, West Lafayette, IN 47907), the same congestion applies on Lundgren Drive on a ranked Big Ten opponent night. Soccer fans can also book a minibus south on I-65 to Gainbridge Fieldhouse or Lucas Oil Stadium for Indianapolis events.
Call 317-238-3326 before those home-game seats sell out.

Lafayette Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
A Lafayette wedding shuttle ensures your guests move smoothly between the hotel block, ceremony, and reception — without anyone navigating unfamiliar Tippecanoe County roads after a few drinks. If you are hosting a ceremony at the Museum at Prophetstown (3549 Swisher Rd, West Lafayette, IN 47906) or a reception at a downtown Lafayette venue, guests coming in from Indianapolis or Chicago are already spending four to five hours in a car before they arrive — adding a parking scramble on top of that is a real imposition. A wedding minibus or charter bus runs clean loops from the hotel block, gets everyone to the ceremony on time, and runs the return until the last guest is back at the hotel.
Nobody in your bridal party has to navigate Rural Route 25 in dress shoes in the dark. Because Party Bus in Indianapolis has been handling group transportation since 2011, your wedding timeline stays tight with clear pickup windows and a single point of contact from your first quote to final drop-off. Call 317-238-3326 for a free wedding transportation quote.

Lafayette Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
West Lafayette and the Wabash River corridor have developed a genuine craft beverage scene worth a full afternoon tour. Start at Wildcat Creek Winery (3430 S 9th St, Lafayette, IN 47909), which produces estate wines in a relaxed tasting room with a full food menu. Move to Bard Distillery (111 N 2nd St, Lafayette, IN 47901) in the revitalized downtown core for small-batch spirits and cocktails.
Round out the afternoon at People's Brewing Company (2006 N 9th St, Lafayette, IN 47904), one of Lafayette's most popular craft spots with consistent seasonal taps and a comfortable taproom. A Lafayette party bus rental keeps the entire group together between stops — no designated driver, no parking charge at each location, no counting rideshares at the end of the night. Just tell us your stops and we plan the route.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Lafayette Party Bus Rentals
How much does a party bus cost in Lafayette?
Lafayette, Indiana party bus rental prices depend on the vehicle size, your date, and the total hours needed. As a guide: 14-passenger Sprinter limos run $170–$344/hour; 15–20 passenger party buses run $204–$378/hour; 20–30 passenger party buses run $244–$414/hour; 35–50 passenger party buses and minibuses run $294–$490/hour; and 40–56 passenger charter buses run $150–$300/hour or $1,200–$2,500/day. Purdue home football Saturdays and graduation weekends in May see the highest demand — book those dates 3–6 months early.
The fastest way to lock in an exact number for your date and itinerary is to call 317-238-3326 or use our online tool for an all-inclusive quote in under 30 seconds.
Do you serve West Lafayette and the Purdue campus?
Yes — West Lafayette and the Purdue University campus are among our most frequent destinations in the Lafayette market. We handle pickups and drop-offs throughout campus, including the Memorial Union, Ross-Ade Stadium, Mackey Arena, and the Purdue Research Park in the Discovery District. Whether you need a shuttle between a campus event and a downtown Lafayette hotel or a charter bus picking up a student group for a field trip, our reservation team knows the campus routing and the event-specific parking restrictions.
Call 317-238-3326 and let us know your campus pickup and we will handle the rest.
Can a charter bus make multiple stops across Lafayette?
Absolutely — multi-stop itineraries are one of the most common requests we get from Lafayette groups. A bachelorette party hitting three bars downtown, a corporate group running between the Purdue Research Park, a hotel in West Lafayette, and a dinner venue on the Wabash, or a birthday group making stops at Columbian Park and then a restaurant on Main Street — we build the route around your schedule, not the other way around. Just give us your pickup address, the stops in order, and your estimated time at each location, and we will quote the block of hours needed.
Call 317-238-3326 to walk through your itinerary with someone on our reservation team.
What is the best vehicle size for a Purdue tailgate group?
For most Purdue Boilermakers tailgate groups, the 40- to 56-passenger charter bus is the most efficient choice — it handles a full fan group in one vehicle, its undercarriage bays fit coolers, folding chairs, and portable grills, and it drops your crew near the north end of Ross-Ade without anyone parking two miles away on Salisbury Street. For smaller groups of 15–30, a minibus is the right call — lower cost per head, and it moves more nimbly through the West Lafayette campus traffic on Stadium Avenue and Northwestern Avenue. Whatever your headcount, call 317-238-3326 and we will match you to the right vehicle from our fleet.
Are buses available for late-night or early-morning pickups in Lafayette?
Yes. Our reservation team is available 24/7/365, and we coordinate pickups at any hour — a 2 a.m. pickup after a downtown Lafayette bar crawl, an early-morning airport run to IND for a group flying out before 6 a.m., or a pre-dawn charter bus departure for a Purdue away-game road trip to Columbus or Champaign. Late-night and early-morning windows in Lafayette mean reduced traffic on I-65 and US 52, so the timing is often cleaner than a midday run.
Just call 317-238-3326 and we will build the booking around your schedule.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least three to six months ahead for the best vehicle selection and pricing. In Lafayette, the windows that fill fastest are Purdue home football Saturdays (September–November), Purdue graduation weekend in May, and prom season (April–May) — during those stretches, the right-size vehicles go quickly and last-minute bookings mean premium pricing or no availability. For most other Lafayette events outside those peak windows, two to four weeks of lead time is workable.
The earlier you call, the better your options. Lock in your date by calling 317-238-3326 right now.
Popular Lafayette Party Bus Destinations
A Lafayette party bus itinerary can span the city's parks, performance venues, stadiums, and cultural landmarks. Here are six of the most popular destinations our groups visit — with the logistics detail you need to plan the trip right.

Ross-Ade Stadium
Home of the Purdue Boilermakers football program since 1924, Ross-Ade Stadium (1 Rosenthal Ave, West Lafayette, IN 47907) seats 57,236 and is one of the signature game-day experiences in the Big Ten. On major home Saturdays — ranked opponents, rivalry games, homecoming — Northwestern Avenue and Stadium Avenue back up sharply two or more hours before kickoff, and surface lots right around the stadium go by permit only. The walk from satellite parking areas along Jischke Drive or across campus can exceed 20 minutes.
Charter buses drop groups near the north gates via the commercial vehicle approach, putting your crew steps from the gates while others are still navigating the lot system. After the game, the bus can wait nearby and be ready for a clean exit before the full lot empties. We highly recommend reviewing the Purdue Parking and Transportation page for current event-day lot assignments before your visit.
Address: 1 Rosenthal Ave, West Lafayette, IN 47907
Phone: (765) 494-4600

Mackey Arena
Mackey Arena (900 John R. Wooden Dr, West Lafayette, IN 47907) is one of the loudest basketball venues in the Big Ten, seating 14,876 for Purdue Boilermakers men's and women's basketball. On nights when ranked opponents come to town — a Michigan State or Indiana game, or deep into a March run — Lundgren Drive and the surrounding campus grid fill up quickly, and Purdue's event-day parking enforcement is active across the entire West Lafayette campus. A minibus or charter bus drops your group directly at the arena entrance and picks everyone up at an agreed time after the final buzzer, so there is no scramble for parking passes and no walking four blocks in a January wind chill.
A 15- to 35-passenger minibus is the right fit for most Mackey basketball groups — lower cost per seat than a full charter bus, and maneuverable on the tighter campus streets.
Address: 900 John R. Wooden Dr, West Lafayette, IN 47907
Phone: (765) 494-3189

Tippecanoe Battlefield and Museum
The Tippecanoe Battlefield National Historic Landmark (200 Battleground Ave, Battle Ground, IN 47920) sits about 7 miles north of downtown Lafayette on SR 43, commemorating the 1811 battle between General William Henry Harrison's forces and the Shawnee Prophet's confederacy. The site covers 96 acres of the original battlefield and includes the Tippecanoe County Historical Association's museum with period artifacts, a 90-foot obelisk monument, and well-kept walking paths. It is a natural choice for school field trips, history-focused group tours, and educational corporate outings.
Charter bus groups park in the dedicated bus lot off Battleground Avenue — accessible from US 231 north — and the walk from the lot to the museum entrance is short. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday. We recommend confirming group tour availability by calling the site directly before your visit.
Address: 200 Battleground Ave, Battle Ground, IN 47920
Phone: (765) 567-2147

Columbian Park Zoo & Tropicanoe Cove
Columbian Park (1915 Scott St, Lafayette, IN 47904) is Lafayette's flagship public park, sitting on the east bank of the Wabash River with 195 acres that include the Columbian Park Zoo — a free-admission, family-run zoo with over 100 animals — plus the Tropicanoe Cove water park (open Memorial Day through mid-August), an amusement park midway, and rental pavilions popular for family reunions and corporate picnics. The parking lot off Scott Street fills fast on summer weekends and during organized event days. A minibus or charter bus drops your group at the park's main entrance on Scott Street, handles the gear in undercarriage bays, and cuts out the scramble for the two small surface lots when the park is at capacity.
For large family reunion groups using the pavilions, a 40-passenger charter bus keeps the entire group on one vehicle instead of juggling a caravan from multiple hotels.
Address: 1915 Scott St, Lafayette, IN 47904
Phone: (765) 807-1540

Long Center for the Performing Arts
The Long Center for the Performing Arts (111 N 6th St, Lafayette, IN 47901) is Lafayette's primary indoor performance venue, a 1,500-seat hall in the heart of downtown that hosts touring Broadway productions, national comedy acts, the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, and community events throughout the year. The surface parking on 6th Street and the adjacent municipal lot on 5th Street fill on any sold-out night, and metered spots along Main Street turn over on a short clock. A Lafayette party bus or minibus drops your group at the 6th Street entrance — steps from the lobby — and picks everyone up at the stage door end of the block after the curtain falls.
No one has to circle the block looking for the one open meter. For groups coming in from West Lafayette or from hotels on the SR 38 corridor, a 15- to 25-passenger minibus is the practical fit.
Address: 111 N 6th St, Lafayette, IN 47901
Phone: (765) 742-5664

Prophetstown State Park
Prophetstown State Park (4112 E State Rd 225, Battle Ground, IN 47920) preserves over 3,000 acres of restored tallgrass prairie and wetlands along the Wabash River, and the Museum at Prophetstown within the park offers a working 1920s-era farm, a Native American village, and living-history programming that makes it one of the most distinctive educational destinations in Indiana. The park draws school groups, nature tours, family reunions, and wedding photography parties — its native wildflower meadows along SR 225 are a particularly popular ceremony backdrop. The entrance off SR 225 east of Battle Ground has a dedicated bus lane for commercial vehicles.
Day permits are required for motor vehicles. For school groups using the living-history programming at the farm, the charter bus's undercarriage bays handle lunches, science equipment, and art supplies cleanly — no hauling everything through the prairie grass. Reserve group programming well in advance through the park's interpretive staff.
